Sweet Alyssum [ Lobularia Maritima ] is outstanding, quick flowering, low border plant. This fragrant garden favorite produces masses of crisp white blooms, but, while usually white, sweet alyssum sometimes blooms with a rose or violet blush, adding to its charm.

Sweet Alyssum [ Lobularia Maritima ] is traditionally used for edging beds, borders, and as an annual ground cover. In mild areas, alyssum will bloom all season long. This is one reason this little European wildflower has been a garden favorite for centuries.
