Aster White Upland [ Aster Ptarmicoides ] is a perennial low-growing wildflower  that thrives on dry sandy soils forming mounds that are literally covered with white flowers in August and September. The silvery-white seedheads carry the show into the fall.  Requires at least a half day of full sun, and never grows over two feet tall.

Aster White Upland [ Aster Ptarmicoides ] will grow in the hottest, driest sandy soils, making it perfect for sandy hillsides, rock gardens and any place most other plants find hostile.

The plant attracts butterflies and bees.

The plant is a good cut flower.
