Dianthus Carnation [ Dianthus Caryophyllus ] is a mix with colors ranging from crimson to rose, pink or white on upright, stiff stems. The flowers have a nice fragrance, and, if they are picked, the plants will re-bloom. The plant is easy to grow. An early spring planting will bloom the first year and a mid summer planting will bloom the following year.
The plant is good as a cut flower.
