Morning Glory Mixed [ Ipomoea Purpurea ] is an annual deciduous vine with alternating heart-shaped leaves and large, purple flowers that may show streaks of white and pink. This lovely old-fashioned vining trumpet-shaped flower is available in many colors and flower sizes and is native to tropical areas of Mexico, Central and South America. The plant is invaluable for covering an unsightly fence or creating seasonal screening as a living wall.

Morning Glory Mixed [ Ipomoea Purpurea ] has the two inch flowers, which open in the morning and only last a few hours, are prominent from July to September. The vine, which is covered with fine hairs, may grow between ten and sixteen feet in height by twining around other structures. It is usually grown as an annual vine and the plant is excellent re-seeder - if you plant it once you may never have to plant it again.

This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.
