Pepper Sweet Red Marconi [ Capsicum Annuum ] is a heirloom very sweet Italian pepper that can be used for frying or eaten in salads. It grows 12 inches long and ripens from green to red. The plants are very productive.  It needs moisture and warmth. Start inside in March or April and transplant into rich, well prepared garden soil when all danger of frost is past. Space 15-18inches apart in rows 2 feet apart.
