Peruvian Lily [ Alstroemeria Ligtu ] is native to Chile, and it is one of the most elegant wild species forms. The plant will produce 2 inch mixed-colored blooms 9 months after sowing. Their colors are varied; from bright magenta to peach to almost entirely white, glowing in clusters atop glaucous stems and leaves.
Peruvian Lily [ Alstroemeria Ligtu ] will become dense and spreading when established in the landscape, they can also be grown as a pot plant in a cool green house or sunroom in colder climates. The plant requires only sun, good drainage and moderate water to bloom 6 week during early summer.
The plant is excellent as a cut flower.
