Spurred Snapdragon Toad Flax [ Linaria Maroccana ] is an erect, slender annual native to Morocco, which has naturalized throughout the United States. It has tiny, delicate flowers with long spurs glisten from short spikes. Flowers come in a multitude of colors ranging from yellow, red and pink to white or purple, and they bloom spring to fall in cool summer climates, but usually stop blooming in the heat of summer in hot climates.
Spurred Snapdragon Toad Flax [ Linaria Maroccana ] is truly spectacular when heavily seeded in an isolated area. The plant is good in beds, borders, meadows or cottage gardens, and also can be grown in containers, baskets and window boxes. This hardy annual is good for the butterfly garden, and may also attract hummingbirds. Snapdragon is good as a cut flower for cuttings in small bouquets.
