Yarrow Red Achillea Millefolium Rubra is a compact-growing, hardy perennial that is a member of the aster family in the genus achillea. Yarrow Red seeds can be easily germinated without any special treatment, and also known as Milfoil, Staunchweed, Sanguinary, Thousandleaf, Soldiers Woundwort, Achillea Millefolium Rubra features mounds of fragrant, fern-like foliage and produces densely-packed clusters of small, distinctive-looking, reddish-pink flowers. Red Yarrow blooms all summer long attracting bees and butterflies.

Yarrow Red is a superb plant for borders, containers or large pots, and this yarrow variety makes a colorful addition when planted with other yarrows or in a mixture with various flowers. Achillea Millefolium Rubra seeds can be sown in fall for an early bloom, and the established Red Yarrow tolerate heat, cold, low soil fertility, and drought. It is a good idea to separate clumps every four years to keep Yarrow plants healthy. Red Yarrow makes an outstanding flower for drying.

These seeds germinated very well. Seedlings established well, and many flowered first season. Very pleased.
