Lupine Golden [ Lupinus Densiflorus Aureus ] is annual and this wildflower is one of the great glories of the west! This plant carpets whole hillsides along the Pacific coast, and the spikes of majestic, golden yellow sweet-pea like flowers bloom profusely.  This lupine is carefree in loose, sandy soil.  Aureus quickly takes root and do best in drier soils with high acidity, sand content and drainage.

Lupine Golden [ Lupinus Densiflorus Aureus ] is adapted to cool and moist climates, and the plant is perfect for sunny borders in seaside landscapes or areas with marine influences. Nice golden accent for partially shaded areas in warmer, dry-summer climates.
