Onion Sweet Spanish Yellow [ Allium Cepa ] is an open pollinated onion with immense ball shaped bulb that weighs up to 1 pound. A light yellow variety that has a small neck, creamy white flesh and a mild flavor. Great for onion rings, and good for bunching when young. Does well for short term storage and shipping. Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost and transplant 2-3 weeks before the last frost. Transplant bulbing onions 4-6 inches apart.
