Pyrethrum Robinson's Red Tanacetum Coccineum is a herbaceous perennial native to southwestern Asia. Pyrethrum Robinson's Red seeds can be started indoors, and the seedling can be transplanted outdoors after last frost. Also known as Painted Daisy and Chrysanthemum Coccineum, Tanacetum Coccineum features attractive, bushy, fern-like foliage and cheerful, showy, large daisy-like scarlet-red flowers with a bright, golden-yellow center. Pyrethrum Robinson's Red has a long bloom season and provides a striking display of red color, attracting bees, butterflies, and birds.
Pyrethrum Robinson's Red is perfect for flower borders and beds, and Painted Daisy a long time favorite for cottage and cutting gardens. Tanacetum Coccineum seeds have to be lightly covered with soil, and the established Pyrethrum prefers to grow in sandy, well-drained soil and full sun, but the plant is adaptable to any well-drained soil and can tolerate partial shade. Tanacetum Coccineum is one of the best natural insecticides that is used widely as an organic insecticide or insect repellent. Pyrethrum makes an excellent, long-lasting cut flower.

Excellent germination. Plants established well and grew well. No bloom first season. Hopefully, they will bloom next season. Looking forward to seeing them bloom.
