Zinnia Canary Bird Zinnia Elegans is one of the most popular garden annual flowers. Zinnia Canary Bird seeds germinate fast, and established Zinnia Canary Bird has attractive, dark-green foliage with sturdy flower stems that bear extra large, 4-5 inches in diameter, fully-double, long-lasting, brilliantly-yellow flowers. Zinnia Canary Bird blooms non-stop all summer and fall attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Zinnia Canary Bird makes an eye-catching display of yellow color in a garden, and as all zinnias, this zinnia is ideal for container, background, and border planting. I didn't give this a 5 only because it's still a seeding. These were the first in the flat to come up; and the germination was very good. But how they will do in my yard is still unknown. The other zinnia in the flat (also from seed corner) didn't come up at all! This is far from my first year growing zinnias (which are easy!) so I am puzzled. I'm happy to have a yellow in Canary Bird (I hope I have yellow! I DON'T have white or pink, But I hope these are true to the stated and pictured yellow!)
