Asparagus Ming Fern Asparagus Myriocladus is a perennial evergreen plant. Ming Fern Asparagus can be grown from seeds, and the established Asparagus Myriocladus resembles a small pine tree which grows 4 to 5 feet with arching stems that grow in a zigzag pattern. Also called Dill Fern and Asparagus Retrofractus, this popular garden specimen is a fast and large growing shrubby plant with spectacular dark green, cloud like, fine foliage and fragrant, white with 6 petals and yellow stamens, small flowers.

Asparagus Ming Fern is not only an excellent house plant, but it's highly ornamental appearance is appreciated in many garden settings such as hedges, borders, or growing along foundations. This fern asparagus is superb for pots, containers and hanging baskets. North of USDA Zone 9, this plant can be grown in containers that are over wintered indoors.
