Lady's Mantle Silky Gold Strike Alchemilla Sericata is herbaceous perennial native to the alpine and subalpine regions of the Caucasus. The sericata means "silky" in reference to the soft hairs on the surface of the leaves and stems. Lady's Mantle Silky Gold Strike seeds can be started indoors in winter or directly outdoors, and the Gold Strike variety is a compact growing, mounding selection of Silky Lady's Mantle that features grey-green, lobed foliage with a soft, fuzzy, serrated, textured leaves and bears rounded clusters chartreuse/yellow of tiny star-shaped flowers.
